The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has developed standards of how to quote electronic documents or parts thereof. The excerpts from ISO 690, Part 2 (http://www.nlc-bnc.ca/iso/tc46sc9/standard/690-2e.htm), are available on the internet, showing the basic specifications for data elements and their prescribed order in bibliographic references to electronic documents. This document includes some examples.
