Addresses Related to Organic Farming Research in EuropeAbout this address databaseThe setting up and maintenance of the addresses related to organic farming research is co-funded under the European ERA-net project 'CORE Organic' in the frame of work package 2 (Mediation and Communication) - Web portal on European research in organic food and farming. This portal provides general overviews of programs, financing, ways of initiating and coordinating, institutes and facilities, etc. for 11 European countries. CORE Organic is an acronym for 'Coordination of European Transnational Research in Organic Food and Farming'. The project is initiated as a part of the European Commissions ERA-NET Scheme, which intends to step up cooperation between national research activities. The project was commenced in October 2004 and it will last for three years (Contract no.: 011716). This address database is an excerpt of the address database with addresses related to organic farming at www.organic-europe.net. It is maintained by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL, Frick, Switzerland. Originally the setting up of this database was funded by the European Commission, DG Agriculture, under budget line B1-382, carried out by Foundation Ecology and Agriculture (SÖL), Bad Dürkheim, Germany.
