Organic Revision: Research to support revision of the EU Regulation on organic agriculture
The overall objective of the Organic Revision project is to provide recommendations for the revision and further development of the EU Regulation 2092/91 and other standards for organic agriculture.
Organic rules database
The Organic Rules database on differences in organic standards in relation to EEC regulation 2092/9 was developed.
The database built on experiences with existing databases and software. It is designed for the analysis and further development of standards for organic agriculture including new areas such as horticulture and breeding techniques.
The database allows for decentralised web-based updating that enables the different Member States and inspection bodies to take responsibility for the accuracy and updating.
