October 19, 2011: Round table discussion on climate change

On October 19, a round table discussion between the Round Table on Organic Agriculture and Climate Change (RTOACC), the European Group of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM EU Group) and European Commission officials takes place.

The aims of the meeting are as follows:

  • Exchange on state of science and ongoing discussions regarding climate change and organic agriculture as well as on upcoming policy initiatives
  • Discussion of approaches and strategies to mitigate and adapt to the consequences of climate change in the food sector

European Commission officials working on cliamte change in relation to food and farming; RTOACC members, IFOAM EU Group.
